Lloyd Kahn, pioneer of the green building movement, is editor-in-chief
of Shelter Publications. Also a noted author and photographer, and
former editor of the Whole Earth Catalog, Kahn's latest book is Tiny Homes: Simple Shelter.
Born
in 1935, Kahn earned a BA from Stanford University and served a tour in
the Air Force before turning to carpentry and construction. He
developed a passion and talent for the unique and the practical,
including geodesic domes, handbuilt shelters, and small homes.
